I was referred to Dr. Palmer from ATI in Huntley. Outstanding, this is the second hip replacement I have had. The first was done at Barrington Orthopedics and it was a posterior replacement on my right hip. This Anterior Hip Replacement is hands down the way to go. I was back to work in a week and I golfed 18 holes 3 weeks after the surgery. Dr. Palmer was great. I can’t tell enough people about him. I came in with a problem from my first surgery MRSA. I was on a suppressing antibiotic for a year. Dr. Palmer took control of the situation and I am off the antibiotic and MRSA free. He didn’t cure the MRSA but he did find out that I don’t have it. I am 54 years old and have had both hips replaced. This all started 5 years ago. It is truly a great feeling to walk without pain. Someone ask me the other day how I am doing with getting around. My comment was –
its great to walk without thinking about it. That’s LIFE CHANGING!!! Don’t wait to get it done. Only use Dr. Palmer too, great practice everyone was outstanding there. A side note, ST. Joseph hospital was also outstanding. Not only was everyone extremely nice but it took a half hour to check out. If your going to use outside physical therapy go to an ATI. I am using the one in Huntley its great.
